How to clean your palace easily and effectively

A huge number of types of flooring, existing today, will not replace us with the good old rugs. Today they are still in demand and popular. And this is not at all accidental, because we live in a northern country, where most of the year cold prevails. So, it is very important that our feet, even barefoot, be comfortable and warm at home.

Unfortunately, after some time, any palace loses its appearance and softness. It fades, spots and an unpleasant odor appear. Especially these negative changes are noticeable on light colored carpets. Regular vacuuming may delay this point, but will not prevent it. Do not despair about this, because there is a real opportunity to restore the original look to your flooring. It is not necessary to resort to dry cleaning services. You can clean the palace yourself, using special purchased household cleaning products, a steam cleaner, or using a “folk remedy”, the ingredients for which can be found in every home.

One of the options for how to clean the palace at home without removing it from the floor is a purchased special household cleaning product. For example, you can clean the floor with Vanish carpet. This remedy is of two types - in the form of shampoo and in the form of a powder. It is best to use a liquid version for washing the palace. Vanish, like any other household chemical product, has certain specific features, so in order not to get an unpleasant result after using it, you must adhere to certain rules:

• Before using Vanish, it is necessary to remove all dirt from the wrong side of the carpet. Then vacuum the fluffy part of it. and after that you can start the cleaning process itself.
• Do not rub the carpet during processing, in order to prevent deeper penetration of dirt and its spread. The product should be applied from the periphery to the center of the palace.
• Do not use two chemicals together in any case. If the stain was previously treated with another agent, then the use of Vanish is possible only after complete drying of the treated area.
• To avoid disturbing the texture of the palace, cleaning should be done only in the direction of the pile.
• Handle the palace by Vanish exclusively in a ventilated room. Otherwise, the flooring may suffocate. It will not be easy to get rid of the unpleasant musty smell later.
• After processing, the palace should be dried thoroughly. On the unfinished carpet, new spots may appear, which will be almost impossible to get rid of. To be sure, you can first hold the palace upside down, and then dry the pile. If it is possible to hang up the palace, this would be the best option.

Palace cleaning with folk remedies

A situation may arise when you urgently need to wash the palace, but there are no special tools at hand. In this case, there are many so-called “Popular” ways to quickly and efficiently clean the carpet at home, and at the same time get rid of the bad smell. Such funds are often even more effective than ready-made ones. And much more economical - which is also important.

How to get rid of dust and return the palace brightness

A few recipes for cleaning products, with which you can restore the carpet to its former brightness, saving it from dust and small impurities:

• 1 tablespoon washing powder + 1 tablespoon soda + 70-80 ml of table vinegar. Mix all the components by adding a little warm water to the mixture. Mix the surface of the palace with a mixture (it is most convenient to use a spray gun). After the mixture has dried, remove it from the surface of the carpet with a brush or vacuum cleaner.
• 1 tablespoon salt + 1 tablespoon grated pumice stone + 1 tablespoon vinegar + 1 cup flour + some water. The mixture of the above ingredients should be removed to the freezer until solidified. Then cut the frozen mass into pieces and rub them into the dirty areas of the carpet. After that, remove the crumbs with a vacuum cleaner or a brush.
• After wetting the palace a little, you can sprinkle several handfuls of salt on it and let it stand for 30 minutes. Then you should remove the mixture from the surface using a soaked broom or brush. This procedure can be repeated several times, and instead of salt use soda.
• In winter, a dirty palace can be cleaned with snow. To do this, you need to take it out to the street and, putting it face down on the snow, knock it out well. Then transfer the carpet to clean snow and repeat the procedure. The palace will be considered cleaned when the snow under it remains clean. If you carry out a similar cleaning on a frosty day, then along with dust and dirt, you can get rid of various mites.

How to get rid of spots on the palace

A few ways to clean the carpet from stains:

• Grease stain. To 100 ml of thick slurry from laundry soap, add 10 ml of gasoline. The resulting mixture is applied to the stain and gently wiped with a soft cloth. With this solution, you can remove even the old greasy stain on the palace. A fresh oil stain can be covered with starch and then washed with clean water.
• Stains from ink and watercolors are removed with vinegar and citric acid.
• The stain from liquor or wine is removed with a soapy solution, followed by treatment with vinegar.
• A stain from coffee, juice or berries can be removed with ammonia diluted in water.
• The place where the egg broke should be washed with clean water, and then remove traces of the yolk with hydrogen peroxide.
• Blood stains. A fresh stain can be removed with a soapy solution. If the stain is old, you can use a mixture of washing powder, salt and ammonia. Water for the mixture must be cold.

How to get rid of bad smell

If a cat lives in the house, then one can often encounter one more problem - the need to get rid of the smell of cat urine, because sometimes our favorites "mark" the territory. For this case, there are also several "folk" recipes:

• You should carefully soap the area of ​​the palace with household soap using a sponge. Wait for drying, and then rinse well with clean water. The laundry soap contains glycerin, which breaks down urinary stone.
• Fill the stain with acetic-aqueous solution (1: 3), wait for drying and sprinkle with soda. Vacuum in a day.
• Fill a soda spot for about 2 hours. Then spray and rub the mixture of hydrogen peroxide with liquid soap over the soda and brush until foam appears. (100 ml: 0.5 tsp). Next, wait until completely dry and vacuum.

Removing stains from cat urine, you need to know one important rule - you should never use products containing ammonia. Since the smell of ammonia will attract the animal and it is likely that it will mark this place again.
