A handleless kitchen - perfect space (25 photos)

Ideal modern kitchens without handles all present in different ways, but in most cases they believe that they should be practical and convenient to use. For example, cabinets should have many sections and compartments in which it would be possible to store:
- dishes;
- kitchen appliances and instructions for using it;
- cutlery;
- salt, flour, sugar and some other products;
- spice;
- cooking guides and various recipes books.
And in order for everything that is needed at the moment to have easy access, naturally, all doors and drawers must have handles. Moreover, their large number and appearance are unlikely to appeal to lovers of modern minimalist directions in design.
That is why the recent trend in the design of kitchen furniture is so relevant today, the main component of which is the complete exclusion of handles in the interior of kitchens.
Classic beautiful fittings, if you look at it immediately after acquiring a kitchen, at first are pleasing to the eye, but later on the metal darkens, and because of the often complicated shape of the handles, it is difficult to clean them. In addition, we tend to sometimes come across various protrusions protruding above, below or in the middle of the facade of kitchen furniture, which often leads to minor injuries.
For those who need a kitchen without handles, there are currently options for kitchen cabinets in which the doors open in an unconventional way.
Further, various techniques are considered that differ both technologically and in their convenience, allowing you to create kitchen furniture that does not contain handles.
Milled facade
You can open cabinets without using handles, for example, by applying facade milling. At the same time, in essence, a “handle / hook” is created in the facade itself. Milling is performed over the entire width of the facade, without violating the overall composition of the kitchen, and most often in the form of the English letter “L”.
Benefits:
- the appearance of the kitchen remains unified and integral;
- the color of the “handle” obtained in this way does not differ from the color of the facade;
- the milled "handle" does not require the use of a false panel.
Aluminum profile
Another option that allows you to do without handles in kitchen furniture is the use of an aluminum profile to create a “hook”. Moreover, in cross section, such a structural element can be:
- L-shaped;
- S-shaped;
- T-shaped.
The profile color is usually silver, but it is often chosen in other shades.
Benefits:
- the use of an aluminum profile does not interfere with the placement of any equipment in the kitchen, including the built-in one, since it is actually part of the facade;
- you can open the cabinet doors without touching the facades, which means without scratching them and leaving no prints, which is especially important if you have a white kitchen or a glossy kitchen;
- no additional linings or false panels are required;
- unlike the milling option described above, there are more materials suitable for making facades.
But if you still have pens?
In this case, if you adhere to the style of minimalism, then you need to make them invisible, if there is no desire to remove them altogether.
Microscopic pens
They are usually not placed in the center of the plane of the facade, but attached to the end of the sash. This achieves an excellent visual effect. True, using such pens is not very convenient.
Notches
The gloss of the surface of the facade deteriorates when opening the leaves to a greater extent in the absence of handles than in the presence of them. Therefore, a notch is a good option. The recesses on the surface of the furniture do not look like a dissonance in the interior of the kitchen, but their creation is more expensive than installing a conventional stainless steel handle.
Invisible Handles
You can make a pen invisible, or rather, almost invisible, if you color it with a facade. You can paint any accessories: metal, plastic, wooden.
On the brink of fiction
Interesting, although not widespread, options for kitchen furniture without handles are the kitchens, in which the doors are opened with the help of touch devices controlled by just touching them.
An even more unusual and advanced solution is the use of smart open technology that responds to voice commands or waved hands. But such examples of kitchen sets are still found mainly at exhibitions.
Easy to open with one finger
Today, the two most famous manufacturers of furniture accessories for kitchens without handles are two brands:
- Blum
- Hetich.
The mechanisms developed by them for opening the leaves and pushing drawers “push-open” and “tip on” are most often installed in modern kitchen furniture without handles. Opening cabinets is just a touch away with your finger, sometimes using electric motors.
Recently, the kitchen without handles is becoming increasingly popular. Such furniture is usually performed in the spirit of minimalism and has a rectangular appearance and smooth straight planes of the facades that do not contain unnecessary details. There are no protruding elements in it, but how the doors open and drawers are pulled out, everyone can choose to taste.
