• Mirror. The curbstone with a mirror in the hallway is an excellent solution - it looks beautiful and allows you to put yourself in order before you go out. Especially if you equip the mirror with additional illumination.
• Hangers. A curbstone with a hanger in the hallway can also be a convenient option, because the hanger will be needed anyway, and if it is made in the same style as the curbstone, it will look attractive and interesting.
• Cupboard. It may be near the cabinet, play the role of the main storage of things. Made in the same style, it can look very advantageous and fit well into the design.

Materials

The price depends on the variety: if it is expensive, like wenge, the cabinet will cost space money. If cheaper, then less.

The array of wood looks noble, allows any design features: with shelves, with seating in the hallway, a banquet, with a hanger, with a mirror - fits perfectly into the classic design.

However, it may not be the best solution due to some sensitivity. Any massif of a tree does not react too well to humidity and, if you place unpainted shoes in the cabinet, it can damage it.

The material should be selected in accordance with its tastes and financial condition - solid wood, chipboard, metal - each of them has its own situation and scope.

In addition to the material and design features, it is also worth considering:

• dimensions - before you go to the store, you need to measure how much space is in the hallway and how well a banquet or closet will fit there;
• design - a wooden pedestal will not fit into the hi-tech design, and a metal one will look ridiculous in provence, so you should think over the design right away;
• color - a white stand will not fit into the dark hallway, just as black will not be appropriate in light pastel colors.

In the store itself, you should watch so that the cabinet is not damaged, that it stands firmly on the floor and there are no defects anywhere.
