Old tires are a universal material in the embodiment of creative and non-standard ideas for decorating a summer cottage and its comfortable arrangement.

When working with tires, it is recommended to take into account several nuances: winter products are easier to turn around than summer ones; it is easier to work with imported tires - they are thinner and more plastic.

DIY cup of tires

Craft from old tires, made in the form of dishes, will not only attract the attention of guests, but also non-standard decorate the area near the country house.

To create four tires are required (two - the same size, the third - from a scooter and the fourth - the largest), screws, paints, brushes, corrugated pipe, aluminum wire.

Stages of work:

1. Three tires (two identical and from a scooter) are thoroughly washed, cut off on one side and turned out.
2. A saucer base is made out of a car tire. To do this, cut off the top of the largest tire and fit into the place of installation of the cup.
3. The tire from the scooter plays the role of the “legs” of the cup and is mounted on an improvised saucer (cut down). Everything is fastened with self-tapping screws.
4. On top of the scooter tire, put one of the same tires with the top cut off, attach it to the lower tire with screws.
5. The second of the same tires is laid down on the first tire. Both parts are fixed with screws. For durability of connection it is possible to put pieces of lining inside tires under self-tapping screws.
6. The decorative handle of the mug is made of corrugated pipes for electrical wiring. To give and maintain the shape of the handle, an aluminum wire is placed inside the tube. The handle is screwed to the mug with screws.
7. The outside decor of the mug can be done as you wish. Alternatively, the surface is painted in one bright color and horizontal strips of contrasting color are drawn on it (a similar pattern will help mask the junction of two tires).

There are several ways to use this craft for the garden: a decorative flowerbed, a place to store some summer objects or things.

To create a colorful composition, you can install a decorative teapot nearby using the same materials and adding a spout and a cap to the product.

Rocking chair

A similar craft can be made separately or as one of the items on the playground. For rocking, you need a strong and wide tire (preferably domestic), processed wooden board, screws, paints.

Stages of work:

1. The tire is cut in half into two equal parts.
2. Two bars are screwed to the board. The width between the bars is equal to the distance between the tire sections.
3. The board and tire are decorated with bright colors.
4. The seat is screwed to the tire. Before using the rocking chair, you should carefully check the design so that nails do not stick out, and there are no gaps, splintering. On one side of the seat it is advisable to attach a handle for convenience.

To design a playground, you can make several such swings from tires, and it would also be nice to put a large tire, making it a sandbox.

From the tires installed vertically and dug to the same level, you can make an elegant "caterpillar", which is fun to run on.

How to make a decorative pond

A small pool equipped with a large tire will give the site a sophisticated look. To equip a pond you will need: a large tire, jigsaw, spatula, level, waterproofing material, crushed stone with sand and decorative stones of different sizes.

Stages of work:

1. For the organization of the pond, a suitable place is chosen (preferably not in direct sunlight, so that the water does not begin to bloom). To install the tire, a corresponding hole is dug. A layer of sand is poured at the bottom and then a tire is laid. Using the level checks the horizontal position of the tire.
2. The surface inside the tire is lightly dusted with rubble and then the upper side of the tire is cut off with a jigsaw.
3. A waterproofing layer is laid inside the tire, which is sprinkled with gravel along the outer contour.
4. The edges of the garden pool are decorated with large stones to give the pool a beautiful appearance and mask the film.
5. The tank is filled with water, and the decorative pond can already please the owners and guests with freshness.
