How to install a wooden window sill?

The installation sequence may vary slightly depending on the design features and geometric parameters of the system. All work begins with a thorough preparation of the foundation. • Temperature method. The old paintwork is heated with a construction hairdryer to a sufficiently high temperature. After that, removing the old paint with a spatula will not be difficult. However, the process of removing the old coating in this case is significantly slowed down;
• Mechanically. The window sill on the balcony is cleaned with a grinder. This process is among the dirty, as in the process of processing inevitably a large amount of dust and dirt is formed.

The prepared base is plastered and leveled with an emery cloth. This allows you to get rid of all the existing bumps. It is necessary to ensure sufficient surface smoothness. After removing the dust, you can start painting work to give the element a finished look.
