Interior of a German minimalist house

Minimalist country house in Germany

We suggest you familiarize yourself with the exterior and interior of a German house, the design of which is striking in its minimalism. Strict forms and clear lines, a neutral palette and contrasting combinations, a complete lack of decor and practicality are at the head of everything - this is what we see in our private households located in the suburbs of Germany.

Facade of the house

Exterior of the original country house, decorated in the style of minimalism.

As you know, minimalism, both in the interior and the exterior of the houses, pursues the same goals - design with the greatest possible practicality, using mainly natural materials, spaciousness and cleanliness, rigor and conciseness of forms and designs, lack of excessive decor and focus on the main elements of the building. The snow-white facade of a private house is striking in its brightness. The dark roof and the design of the window frames act as contrasting elements.

Private house in Germany

Part of the ground floor almost entirely consists of panoramic windows, so large that it would be more correct to call them glass walls. From the premises of the first floor there are several exits to the courtyard, decorated with the same rigor - a wooden deck, paths covered with fine gravel and a small neatly trimmed lawn.

White and black facade

Minimalist interior of a private home ownership in Germany

Almost all the premises of the German house are made using three shades - black, white and wood. This is surprising, but even with such a poor palette, you can create many different combinations, both in decoration and furniture. Contrasting combinations of dark and light colors, warm and cool shades, allows not only to diversify the appearance of sufficiently monolithic structures, but also to give the interior design some dynamism.

At the entrance

In the interior of a home ownership made in the style of minimalism, you will not see the decor, even the wall, only the most necessary furniture, in most cases built-in and with smooth facades, a minimum of protruding or hanging parts, even the lamps are mostly built-in.

Hallway

The living room is spacious and bright, as befits according to all the canons of the minimalist genre of room decoration. Panoramic windows provide the room with natural light for most of the daylight hours, so the absolutely black wall of storage systems and the same shade of upholstered furniture do not look hard for the interior, do not load it.

Living room

Minimalism in the interior is famous for its love of spacious rooms with a minimum of furniture and an almost complete absence of decor. Only a small vase with a living plant dilutes the three-color palette of the living room and introduces an element of familiarization with nature, freshness and beauty.

Black, White and Woody

On the other side of the entrance to the room is the kitchen area. An open layout allows you to create a more spacious room in which movement does not encounter any obstacles. The choice of black color for the design of all the furniture of the kitchen space is an infrequent design technique. The smooth facades of the kitchen set, located in an angular layout from floor to ceiling, look very monolithic, only the glossy shine of the apron above the work surfaces dilutes the black storage systems.

Kitchen

It is not easy to find completely black household appliances and a sink, but for the general minimalist image of the kitchen space, this was a prerequisite. The room is spacious enough to accommodate, in addition to the kitchen set, a dining group - a dining table and comfortable chairs in black.

Black furniture

Along the perimeter of the ceiling coating, a backlight system is integrated that provides the necessary level of illumination throughout the rooms. For local highlighting of the working surfaces of the kitchen unit, the backlight is integrated in the lower parts of the cabinets at the upper level. The dining area is provided by local illumination of a composition of three pendant lamps of a laconic form.

Black dining group

At the top level of the private house is an office, the minimalist atmosphere of which could be envied by the creators of style. Absolutely snow-white finish blurs the boundaries of structures and objects, only the black edging of storage systems and desks contribute contrasting clarity to the interior of the attic room.
