Vinyl siding: photos and description
For facade cladding, vinyl siding is quite popular today. There are many reasons for this prevalence. One of these parameters is an affordable price and simple installation. It is used both for new buildings and for old worn-out facades.
When building outbuildings with new building materials on an existing old building, a heterogeneous facade is obtained, which, of course, does not correspond to the general stylistic direction. To quickly recreate a full-fledged composition of all buildings and extensions, vinyl siding is ideal. It can be attached to any surface using various heaters, and the developed mounting system allows even a novice to cope with the installation.
Vinyl Siding: Material Benefits
- Durability and functionality. Vinyl siding will serve as a facade decoration for about half a century. An important condition for this is compliance with the installation rules.
- Operational simplicity. It consists in the absence of regular stains and treatments with special protective solutions. This quality gives an advantage to siding over wooden cladding materials, which require constant restoration (primer, painting, etc.). Since the color of the panels is attached at the production stage, the acquired scratches cannot damage the integrity of the painting. To maintain an attractive appearance, it is enough to wash it with water from a hose after winter or slanting rain showers.
- Resistance to temperature extremes. The panels behave excellently in a temperature difference of -50 to +50 degrees. Only in this parameter, an important condition for maintaining its original appearance is high-quality installation: it must be borne in mind that the siding should be able to move freely when changing its size under the influence of temperatures. An additional protection against the effects of temperature extremes, especially sharp ones, is the laminating film. Many manufacturers use it to improve the quality of their products.
- Environmental friendliness. By production modern non-toxic materials are used. In addition to using environmentally friendly material, the tiled house continues to “breathe”. This is achieved through the use of the crate, on which the panels are mounted. Circulating air prevents condensation and mold formation. The lathing also allows the use of various additional heaters, both rolled and sheet.
