Glass Tile Properties

Glass tile is not inferior in quality ceramic. In the manufacture of the hot mass is not deformed, and this allows you to create tiles of cleaner shapes. Such tiles are resistant and durable and safe: chips from broken tiles do not have “cutting” edges. Glass in itself is not chemically neutral afraid of water. Thanks to this, the finishing material can be washed using household chemicals. Dyes are added to the glass to add color. If the tile is executed with a pattern, then it is applied to the back of the tile in several layers. The very last layer is protective and is designed to isolate the decorative layer from adhesives, grouts, etc. Using this technology, the tile pattern does not fade and does not change over time.

Glass tiles are more hygienic than ceramic tiles because they do not have a porous surface and therefore do not absorb odors and dirt. To cover the floor, tiles are made with a non-slippery surface, making it safe to walk on the floor.
