Beige combinations
There lived an old traveler. We shall call him Professor, since he really was. He saw and knew a lot and built a huge house for his family. All walls in this house were painted in beige. He was nicknamed in the town - the Beige House of the Professor.
The most interesting thing is that everyone who lived in the estate was happy and successful.
Once an old traveler gathered his children and said: “You can change everything in this house in your own way, only beige color must always be present in the interior of the rooms.” Everyone respected the wise father, and no one began to argue with him. And when he died, they kept his favorite room intact.
A table from rough boards was brought by the owner from the old bungalow and reminded of youth in a poor family. On soft sofas surrounded by pillows you can relax in the evening. You can go to the balcony and enjoy the stars. The stone wall, which is visible through the window, protects from the cold north wind.
During the repair of the living room, lamps with LEDs were installed in the ceiling, but candles were still left. The palace was laid on the floor and a ventilation system was installed.
The dining room also did not immediately change its appearance. First, we updated the flooring and fireplace, making them more modern. They hung a TV screen on the wall. And the beige color of the walls still makes the room more spacious.
Downstairs in the kitchen stood old kitchen tables painted with stain. They changed only countertops from worn wooden to marble ones. And the lantern with a candle is now just a decoration.
Dining room with updated fireplace. Blue marble stands out against a warm beige color. a stained oak table is covered with a translucent matte varnish and sets off the walls. Built-in cupboards fit harmoniously into the interior.
Wooden staircase with carved railing racks. Dark brown steps and floor, as well as an old table near the wall.
The white bottom of the panels and the beige light top of the walls, and the ceiling in the same tone as their continuation. Such a color combination makes even a simple corridor visually wider, more spacious.
Old furniture in the Gothic style is attractive in its own way. Massive carved legs not only serve as a support for the countertops of various tables, but also decorate the room, making it more romantic.
The combination of dark floor, beige walls and white ceiling make any room taller.
The beige color goes well not only with white and brown, but the gray bedside table and the greenery of the plant look great against its background.
The staircase is wooden, white with dark railings and steps. All walls are beige, edged with white skirting boards and friezes. Even in low light, all rooms look bright and airy.
Near the wall of the Professor’s office. It is decorated with carvings and stands on four curved legs in the form of paws, giving the interior mystery.
Gray furniture and carpet blend perfectly with beige walls. Techno style with classic. Beige tone universal background for many colors. Antique bronze table and gilding on the frame of the mirror, carrot curtains and black baguette paintings.
The living room became so elegant.
Soft and cozy atmosphere in the bedroom in beige tones. The door to the terrace is new, but inside are the same - paneled, like the old sofa with pillows.
The lobby of the main entrance is completely redone. Now here is the realm of modernity. But the lobby is warm and welcoming due to its color.
Over time, everything has changed in this living room. They removed part of the partitions, raised the floor in the dining room and kitchen, making communications under them. There was a picture above the fireplace in the same place.
So now the dining room and kitchen look. The new dark brown furniture is in perfect harmony with the walls of the traditional color of this house.
Entrance to the right wing of the house. There are no interior partitions.Only square columns remained. The beige tuff floor is darker than the walls. In the corner sheltered an old bedside table with carvings and rounded shapes. Besides her from old things there is a sofa and a wrought-iron grille in front of the door.
Before us is a whole suite of rooms on the second floor. Molded fillets, panels, skirting boards and door frames have been preserved. Yes, and the doors themselves are now in retro style.
The staircase darkens majestically with the interweaving of carved curly racks.
As you can see, the children obeyed the Professor. In the modernly furnished bedroom, beige color accentuates the style and creates a relaxed atmosphere.
That was the way to the garden after the last repair. There is nothing left of the old, only the always fashionable color.
New fireplace and beige soft sofas and armchairs around the square table. It became curved legs and carved jewelry. Everything is straight and with sharp corners.
When the professor’s grandson went to study, he rented an apartment. But immediately agreed with the owner that he would repaint the walls.
Behind the glass partition there is a small kitchen and a dining table where you can study. On the balcony there is a table with the head of an eastern deity.
Such a grandson made his bathroom when he bought his apartment.
Once, when a large family from the Beige House gathered and began to remember the Professor, someone asked the question: “Why beige?” And then the student revealed the secret.
When he was very young, he asked his grandfather the same question. In response, I got the whole story.
A young archaeologist in one village high in the mountains met a possessor. She told him that when he was building his house, then let the walls be painted in the color that his jacket would be by then. And then his whole family will be happy.
For many years the traveler wore his brown leather jacket. From the sun, rain and salt of the seas, she greatly changed her color and became beige.
The walls in the house were painted in such a color. And since the family lived in abundance and together, the Professor bequeathed not to change him.
