Romantic wood and white interior
We begin our tour with the kitchen, which is combined with the dining room. The spacious, bright room is literally flooded with sunlight, thanks to the large windows. The total cladding with the help of light-weight wood panels creates an incredibly cozy home atmosphere. By using a darker shade of wood for flooring, the room seems even larger than it actually is. The combination of wood shades with snow-white interior elements creates a positive, festive mood in the kitchen space.
It is not surprising that the facades of kitchen cabinets are made of the same wood as the finish of the kitchen-dining room. The warmth of wood furnishings and finishes, meeting the cool sheen of stainless steel household appliances, creates a balance of a harmonious atmosphere. But the unique element of this kitchen can be called not the total use of wood as a material for furniture and decoration, but an unusual kitchen island with a somewhat industrial appearance. In modern kitchens, we are used to seeing the island's almost completely enclosed base. If there is space at the bottom, then only for the legs on the side of the breakfast counter. In our version, everything is open and does not impede the flow of air in the room, we will see the use of such a design technique in other rooms of the household.
The original execution of the kitchen island has become the highlight of the kitchen-dining room, filled with light and lightness of the natural color palette.
We turn to the private rooms and next in line is our main bedroom. Have you often seen a room for sleeping and relaxing, fully lined with wood? It is not easy to create such a finish, not to turn the room into a kind of steam room in a bathhouse. To create a romantic and sophisticated atmosphere, designers needed white color - in the design of window openings, in textiles for beds and carpeting, for decor and lighting systems.
In this interior, special attention is paid to the decor, the little things that make up the general impression of the room, its mood, character, personality. A thin snow-white tulle on the windows, a quilted bedspread for a large bed, an original lamp design and unusual designs of bedside tables - everything here works to create a unique atmosphere combining individuality and cosiness, comfort and creativity.
But not in a total wood finish, a feature of the bedroom with a snow-white decor. The fact is that this room is in close proximity to the bathroom. A room for water treatments can be said to be located directly in the bedroom, or rather located behind a partition with a huge hole. Theoretically, you can immerse yourself in the bath just getting out of bed. The original design decision became the focus center for two rooms at once.
When taking a bath, you can not only see not only the interior of the bedroom, but a beautiful landscape outside the large window.
In the bathroom, we see the same wooden finish even on the floor.And here, snow-white shades have found application - in plumbing (which is very logical), in the decor of window openings (which is rarely found in bathrooms in principle), in furniture and a carved frame for a mirror.
Similar to the design of the kitchen island, the space under the sink is not sewn into the storage system with doors, as is most often the case. The combination of snow-white and mirror surfaces brings an unusual chic to the bathroom interior - plumbing and chrome accessories for water procedures have created a harmonious alliance.
Another personal room is a children's bedroom, decorated in the best traditions of a wood-white house. Light wood used in the decoration of all surfaces is found with dark shades of material, which served to make the original furniture. Variety in the color palette of the room brought a chest of drawers painted in turquoise. All elements of the interior managed to create a really cozy and pleasant atmosphere for a sound sleep of the small owner of the room.
Near the nursery there is another bathroom, smaller, but, again, with the presence of wood in the decoration. Here we no longer see the dominance of decoration with the help of wooden panels, the apron of the bathroom is lined with snow-white subway tiles. This logical move is explained by the fact that children like to splatter and the surface of the bathroom for a child will always be more exposed to moisture. And the planes finished with wood are still subject to swelling from water over time, no matter how antiseptic and moisture-resistant varnish they are processed.
Another bedroom is located in the attic. And you probably will not be surprised that this room is decorated with wood. The combination of dark and light rocks used in the interior of the room creates an interesting visual effect, and with the help of bright decor items and textiles, a color variety of bedroom design is created.
