It is logical that the barbecue area should be combined with the main structure of your home and not go against other buildings that are present on the site or in the yard. If your barbecue oven is located on a wooden platform or floor, then you can arrange the space around the oven with wood. But remember the fire hazard and special impregnations for wood.

A successful and outwardly attractive option for facing the space around the barbecue oven is to use clinker or ordinary brick. Of course, in this case, you can not avoid the contact of the furnace from one of the walls of the main building or an extension to it, so security and fire fighting issues will be more acute for you. Try to keep a fire extinguisher handy and don't forget to keep track of its expiration date.
