Pouf made of wooden pallets

To create it, you will need the following:

pallet;
small boards - 4 pcs.;
construction stapler;
drill;
upholstery fabric;
self-tapping screws;
electric knife;
the cloth;
Styrofoam;
scissors;
glue spray;
batting or foam rubber;

stationery buttons.

We select the pallet of the required size, clean it of dirt, cut off excess parts and grind if necessary. We attach four boards on the underside of the pallet.

On each side we make markings and carefully install the mounts.

We put a pallet on the foam and draw a marker around its outline. Cut the required length with an electric knife.

We cut off the fabric of the required size, wrap the pallet and fix it with a construction stapler or stationery buttons.

Glue the foam with a glue spray to the wooden blank.

As a result, the workpiece should look like the one shown in the photo.

Cut off the required amount of batting, taking into account the fact that it should cover the upper part of the pouf and the sides. We fix it with glue-spray and a stapler, but do not attach the edges to the workpiece.

Depending on the size of the ottoman, cut off the upholstery fabric of a suitable size. We fix it in the central part and pull it to the corners. We fix from the bottom side with a stapler. We do this several times for reliability. Repeat the same on each side. It is very important to smooth out all the bumps so that there are no wrinkles.

Getting started with the corners. We wrap one of them and, if necessary, cut off the excess tissue. We fix it with a stapler, slightly departing from the edge. Repeat the same for each corner.

Cover the brackets slightly with upholstery fabric. We cover them with a slightly tucked upholstery fabric. We fix it from the bottom of the ottoman with a stapler.

If you wish, you can hide the places of fastening of the upholstery, but for this you need a special needle and special skills.

For additional ottoman decor, glue beautiful buttons on the sides. We also install the legs.

Due to this seemingly insignificant decor, the pouf looks even more attractive and original.

DIY small sofa

For a terrace or an entrance hall, a small sofa is simply necessary. An excellent option would be the original design of pallets, which everyone can do with their own hands.

Necessary materials:

pallets;
decorative pillows;
furniture handles;
plywood sheets;
boards;
sandpaper;
furniture wheels with brakes;
primer;
paint;
brushes;
fasteners;
protective equipment;
power tools.

We clean the wooden pallets from contamination and process them with sandpaper. This is necessary in order to get rid of bumps and clues. Only after that we make marks and attach the wheels so that the workpiece is flat on the floor.

From the second pallet, cut out the rectangle, which will be the back of the sofa.

The third pallet is cut into two parts. They will be used as side parts.

We fill the gaps in each part with the help of additional boards.

We attach the back of the sofa to the base, as well as the side parts.

We cover the structure with a primer and leave it to dry completely. If desired, apply a layer of paint or several.

From a sheet of plywood we make small boxes. We attach furniture handles to them. A beautiful small sofa is ready.

Armchair from pallets

If you plan to equip a terrace, a veranda or a small courtyard in the country, then furniture from wooden pallets is ideal. It does not take too much time or investment. But the result is an interesting and unusual piece of furniture.

We will prepare such materials:

pallets;
self-tapping screws;
gloves
saw;
hammer;
screwdriver;
pencil;
ruler;

Sander.

To begin with, we clear wooden pallets of dirt dust. After that, we divide them into boards and lay them out in thickness. This is necessary so as not to lose time in the process of choosing a suitable board.

To create a frame, select boards with recesses. We fix them with screws to the frame. Between the boards we leave a small empty space.

In the same way we collect the back of the chair. It should be a little smaller. We attach it to the main frame, as shown in the photo.

From the board we cut two supports of the same size. This will be the legs for the chair. We put them strictly upright, raise the front of the seat and connect the parts together.

Also cut out two armrests and attach them to the frame.

Using a grinding machine, we process the entire surface of the chair. Particular attention should be paid to the armrests and the outside. You also need to slightly round off all the sharp corners and the front side of the seat, as shown in the photo.
