Apartment in the tradition of art deco
In a spacious apartment, it is likely to accurately reproduce the stylistic features of art deco. In general, it is scope, luxury and picturesque eclecticism.
Paired sofas with white leather upholstery and symmetrical stitch are located against a dark wall with a fireplace and a large panoramic window. The soft group includes velvet purple chairs with high backs, reminiscent of furniture from the throne room. In support of a small lamp repeating the color of the textured upholstery, the composition looks self-sufficient. A soft quilted couch of blue color is located directly at the source of fire and forms part of the furniture exposition. The brown figured pair of structures with varnish coating fragmentarily echoes the coffee table. The functional part under the frosted glass countertop is made of identical material and serves as a connecting link in diverse sets. An elegant coffee table, with smooth lines and shape reminds of Art Nouveau and goes well with bright sofas. In general, the soft group in terms of size is similar to a wall with a rectangular fireplace, in design gravitating towards minimalism. At the same time, there is a feeling of lightness and freedom
The floor covering, duplicating the texture feature of marble, harmoniously merges with the dark panels of the installation with an integrated hearth. The whole composition is built on the background of textile wallpaper, white marble flooring and white oak doors. The mystical deep black color in the decoration of the fireplace portal and the ebony section makes the interior mysterious without a hint of dullness. The characteristic decor, like skillful carvings on the finishing profile and facade, rounded corners, indicate handmade work from an expensive collection. Symmetrical stained glass of side cabinets, in tandem with a silver sheen of metal fragments, give chic.
The dominance of black and white is initially predictable - such a solution requires tradition. An eclectic mix of upholstery of soft sets, the joint reflection of glossy surfaces, a kaleidoscopic scattering of glare from bohemian crystal chandeliers create a full-fledged picture of art deco and destroy stereotypes about the need for color consistency.
Through a panoramic wall and not curtained glass, an urban plot with a claim to participate in the decor brazenly bursts into the living room. Drapes with colored lines resonate with the gamut of the dining group. Beautiful paintings are fixed on a round brass rod. Now they froze in anticipation of the evening. Change of their positions according to the time of day changes the impression of the living room. A couple of movements - and silk fabric in a slender line of stripes will protect the room from city lights. Bright prints will sparkle with gentle tints under the artificial lighting of chandeliers and flashes of a living flame.
The dining area is conventionally allocated with a carpet with black and white rhombuses. To the glass table are pushed deep chairs from a velvet dark blue set and upholstered chairs with white skin. Accompanied by a "crystal" light pouring from a low hanging chandelier, a family gathers here every evening.
Kitchen Design
The kitchen is distinguished by achromatic design, surprises with thoughtfulness, functionality and comfort. The graphite-colored glass mosaic apron in the working area reflects sun bunnies, since the viewing window into the entire opening, located opposite, allows the sun to pass through to the maximum. A large silver plate with red handles and a black hob partially dilutes the monochrome. The hood is a couple of tones darker than the “hearth” and abuts against a gray ceiling. In color harmony with the stove, the fittings are made.Massive handles are simple in shape, spaced from the facades and transmit light, which distracts the eye from their size.
A pair of ivory wall lockers are next to the stove. The impressive sections are arranged around the perimeter and hide dishes and appliances behind glass doors. And yet, the decorative solution is not so clear: the presence of a wooden module, which successfully distinguishes with a brown case against a pale background, is noticed. The mother of pearl of marble surfaces adds a specular highlight to the space and visually enhances the kitchen. The large disproportionate “island” occupies a central place, however, leaves freedom of movement. From the side of the window, low chairs with textured upholstery of the dominant color are attached to the semicircular structure.
The boxes are made in saturated steel and echo the ceiling hovering above the perimeter. A decorative white profile emphasizes the identical geometry of the ceiling and the “island”. Chandeliers with crystal “pendants” and built-in lamps make up a separate composition and perfectly rhyme with the concept.
You can enjoy invigorating drinks by the window while admiring the cityscape. Silver rods of arbitrary weaving serve as a creative stand for a glass round tabletop. In the company of an ascetic chandelier on chains, blue armchairs and curtains of pearl color, the compositional plot is perfectly built.
Creative in the bedroom
The bedroom interior continues the storyline and the design is built on the harmony of dark and light. White perfectly combines with wenge and its soft shades seen on textiles: plain blurs and delicate bedspreads with beautiful prints. Stylish bedside tables made in the same key with the room are an example of perfection. The walnut-colored floor contrasts perfectly with pearl panels and identical segmented leather inserts and a spacious closet. The bed with a bright blue headboard is decorated in unison with the dominant wall. The impression of the plot would be incomplete in the absence of a pair of silver lamps in tandem of a luxurious candle chandelier hanging above the bed.
The dressing area is a little different. The combination of gold and "cyclamen" literally blinds. The amazingly beautiful design of the wall panels requires no comment. The atmosphere is full of luxury.
Let's see what is hidden behind a heavy curtain. The pacific total brown perimeter has a deep relaxation. A space with textile dark wallpaper and a dark chocolate shade floor would look depressing if not a light black carpet stain, wide white skirting boards and symmetrical abstractions. Interesting, but true: the color scheme is limited to the participation of white, a modest number of shades of brown with little black. But what an effect!
Visit to the bathroom
Art deco can be traced everywhere and in everything. The private zone is in no way inferior in luxury to other rooms and is designed in two colors. A classic bathtub with “lion” silver legs, a round hanging chandelier with falling crystal drops, a patterned partition wall, a stone-clad floor and ceiling are made in a friendly black and white tandem with bright stylistic expression.
After soaking in the bathroom, it’s nice to put yourself in order in the relaxation zone. The red background of the walls with silk wallpaper and an art deco pattern, a mirror in a black frame reinforce aesthetic impressions.
White furniture is placed along the wall. Huge mirrors reflect the panel picture, creating an illusory impression of a duplicated decor. Behind the colorful panel of the glass screen is a shower. The perimeter is at the mercy of a colored mosaic with a fragmented participation of marble. The panorama seen from the wide window has become an integral part of the design.
