The Mediterranean style in the design of homes is always an abundance of white, wooden surfaces, the use of ceramic or stone tiles, bright textiles and original decor. The arrangement of the open terrace was no exception - when there are such colorful landscapes around, I want to create an atmosphere that reflects the palette of local nature as closely as possible. The snow-white coloring of the wooden platform of the terrace is like clean beaches, airy textiles, like white caravans of clouds, wood slightly burned out in the sun for furniture and decor, bright colors of the landscape for textile decoration of recreation areas.

A soft recreation area is located on a low platform under a snow-white tent. Associations with a medieval canopy hiding the place of sleep and rest of royal people allows you to create a truly unique one. An airy, light and light image of a segment for outdoor recreation with truly luxurious comfort. An ideal place for a Spanish siesta. But why not adopt the idea and allow yourself to relax after dinner? On the territory of our country, summer is so short-lived, it is necessary to use warm days to the maximum.

The snow-white dressing of a soft relaxation area may seem impractical, but the fabric is easily removed from the metal frame of the canopy and erased, the same goes for the textile cover of a large soft mattress. In the Spanish design it is difficult to do without the color of passion and victory - the bright red shade of the pillow textiles is “softened” by the presence of the same tone, but in a more diluted representation in the form of thin stripes.

In Mediterranean countries, various shades of blue are often used in interior design for spectacular accents - usually decorative elements, prints on textiles, dishes or lighting fixtures act as a reflection of the color of the sea wave, azure sky or the turquoise surface of the ocean.

Two comfortable stand tables on either side of the soft area have become a practical complement to the sophisticated ensemble. A few oriental motifs in the design of light furnishings have brought ethnic diversity to the design of the entire terrace.

On a hot sunny day, rest in the shade of a small snow-white tent, sitting on a soft bed with a soft drink - what could be better? Perhaps the only opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view, to breathe in the aroma of plants and flowers that planted tubs, artificial loose flower beds and small garden pots, standing right there on the terrace.

Next to the snow-white tent is a small country-style bench. When a climbing plant that clings to the metal frame of a small canopy above the bench grows quite thickly, there will be a shadow and coolness over the resting place.

An unusual lamp with a lace ceiling in oriental style not only provides a sufficient level of illumination of the seating area on the bench, but also decorates this picturesque corner with its original appearance.

Marine motifs are reflected in the design of the soft pillows that adorn the old, shabby bench. Everything is in this print - and white clouds against the blue sky, and foam on the sea waves, and the coolness, which is so necessary on hot days.

There is a shower area near the wooden bench. The zoning of this functional segment is very conditional - only the ceramic tiles set the boundaries of the shower sector. The delicate, but at the same time expressive ornament of ceramic tiles brings color diversity to the design of the summer terrace, not to mention the practical side of the issue - the protection of surfaces from constant exposure to moisture.

It is very convenient that in the recreation area in the fresh air, in addition to the shower room, there is a bathroom hidden behind wooden doors. The harmonious combination of modern plumbing and country elements in the decoration and furnishings of a utilitarian room creates an interesting image based on practicality, functionality and comfort.

Elements of country style can be seen here not only in decoration, but also in furniture, accessories and decor. Ceiling beams made of wood with light-colored surfaces that are not fully stained perfectly harmonize with a wooden ladder that acts as a heated towel rail. Wooden elements of furniture and countertops around the sink, as well as the mirror frame look especially expressive against the snow-white background of the utilitarian decoration.

A large umbrella of original design creates a shadow for the dining area. An umbrella with a stable base, decorated with a sculpture, and a fabric base, is not only a practical element of the exterior. But also the focal center of the whole terrace. Its unusual performance attracts the eye and brings to the design of a place for relaxing in the fresh air notes of eastern peace, southern relaxation and Mediterranean identity.

As usual, a large image consists of details, from trifles, puzzles of one picture.
