Design project of a small bathroom in a traditional style
Planning a repair or the reconstruction of the bathroom and still have not decided on the style? You may be inspired by the design project of a small room for water treatments with a classic setting. Elegance and beauty are harmoniously combined with practicality, and the traditional atmosphere surprises with an original choice of finishing materials, textiles and decor.
A small bathroom space including a shower, toilet and sink with a mirror is a necessary set of plumbing for water and sanitary procedures. It would seem - an ordinary small bathroom, but thanks to the successful selection of finishing materials and the use of some design tricks, the room looks unique even with a traditional decor.
Obviously, the basis of the design concept of this bathroom was textile. The use of textile moisture-proof wallpaper to decorate part of the vertical planes has become a highlight of the interior. With the help of white ceramic tiles of square shape, the floors and part of the walls were lined above the work surfaces and in the shower.
The floral pattern of the wallpaper is reflected in the carpet, which is used for the convenience of residents, so that they do not have to stand on a cold tiled floor in front of a sink or mirror.
The space under the sink is decorated in the form of a classic chest of drawers made of wood, covered with a bleached composition. This design not only allows you to hide all utilities, but also serves as a storage system.
A stone countertop of a small sink of a light peach shade (in tone to the wallpaper) is a good investment. The marble will last a long time, it is resistant to chips, scratches and impact of heavy objects, and a light patina, which appears over time, will only add an old charm to the traditional bathroom setting.
The original mirror, which they usually talk about - “in the frame and without the frame”, because it also has a mirror trim, gives the interior a gloss, not to mention the functional load.
Bright striped Roman curtains have become part of the room's textile décor. The shower room is covered with curtains with a lambrequin resembling a canopy above the bed in a classic style, which, of course, brings an element of luxury and special charm to the bathroom.
And the classic image of the bathroom is crowned by a no less traditional chandelier with many glass decorative elements, which in the composition leave no doubt about the stylistic disposition of the room.
