The very first thing that you should start with when choosing furniture in a nursery is the area of the room itself. It is desirable that it be larger, regardless of the age of the child. In any case, exactly half should remain free space in the room. Accordingly, if the room area is small, then the furniture needs to be selected multifunctional compact - folding and unfolding, so as not to clutter up the space. Transforming furniture that does not require constant replacement is also very convenient and practical. For example, it’s convenient when the crib for the baby easily turns into a teenager, and the sofa transforms effortlessly into a bunk bed. The room for children under the age of six is like a fairy tale, while for children after six the interior changes significantly.

The choice of furniture, as well as its color, also determines the gender of the child. However, it is not necessary that only pink is suitable for a girl, and blue is suitable for a boy. Absolutely any shade that will suit the child himself can come up. The only thing that can be advised is not to use too bright and screaming tones that excite the psyche. There is also a trend in which girls tend to tend to interiors with neutral shades, close to the classical style, and boys gravitate to unusual rooms decorated in a modern style.
For a girl from furniture, the following items must be present: a sufficiently spacious wardrobe, a chest of drawers; it would be nice to purchase racks on which you can place your favorite dolls and toys.
Functional furniture is most suitable for the boy, which must include cabinets with many capacious drawers, the furniture upholstery should be non-marking, and the furniture itself should be durable and wear-resistant. Better to move away from a traditional set of furniture
