A children's room is a special world of a baby in which he spends most of his free time. And sometimes it’s quite difficult to create a harmonious atmosphere in a nursery, because here you need to combine a single place for sleeping, a play area and a work area. At the same time, each of us, trying to invest in a limited budget, wants to design a room taking into account fashion trends in the field of design. The task must be said is not simple! Of course, it is not always possible to put all the desired furniture into the room, including hanging chairs, soft padded stools or a sofa, but there are enough for basic furniture items. That is why you should pay attention to multifunctional models. Very comfortable in a small room will be a bed with drawers in which you can store bedding, clothes or toys. Many mothers will agree that it is simply impossible to keep toys in a constant order. Even if they are placed on shelves, then during the day all the cars or dolls turn into one big mountain in the middle of the room. And if you don’t have enough time to deal with this phenomenon every evening and arrange all the toys in the shelves, then you should not choose furniture with an abundance of open shelves.

In order to arrange several books, dolls, bears or planes, a pair of shelves will be enough, it is better to make all other cabinets closed. To ensure the safety of the child, the doors should not contain glass elements.Small boxes with cubes, a designer, cars or dolls can easily be located behind the dull facade of the cabinet. Thus, it will be easy to keep the nursery clean with little effort.

An ideal solution for a small nursery will be a corner cupboard. Using this capacious element of furniture, it will be possible to most rationally distribute the space of the room. Speaking of rationality, one cannot but mention the hinged shelves. A child’s room is the place to experiment with furniture. Here, as nowhere else, hinged shelves of intricate shapes, which are the place above the bed or above the table, will be appropriate. I think each of us has read more than once that color is capable of influencing the psychoemotional state of a person, regardless of age. Psychologists, as one, recommend using calm colors in the child’s room and not using aggressive shades. However, following these rules, you can ensure that the interior can become simply faceless and boring. Of course, he will calm and unload the baby on an emotional level, but will he be attractive to him? In order to truly harmonious the interior of the nursery, you need to skillfully balance bright and calm shades, so that the room is both interesting, cozy and positively affects the child.

The main thing here is to be guided by one simple rule - the color must be natural! If it is green, then this is the color of the first grass, if red is the color of the tulip, if blue is the color of the sky, burgundy is the color of ripe cherry. Even if these shades abound in the room, their naturalness will not irritate the eye. As a background, you can choose ivory, beige shades or sterile white. When you design a nursery in white, you should correctly include color elements so that the interior is not fresh.

In a room with white walls and a ceiling, furniture and floors in light wood will look great. This calm base will be ideal for placing bright ottomans, a sofa or rugs in it.

Beige color will be an excellent backdrop for decorating a nursery, both for a girl and a boy. All shades of beige are considered neutral, and therefore they can be combined with absolutely all colors. Moreover, you can combine not only bright shades, but also shades of beige itself. Resorting to this technique, nondescript protrusions in the room can become its highlight. For example, if an interesting drywall construction with imitation of a sheer cliff is planned in the nursery near the head of the bed, then the niches in the corners of the room can be glued with wallpaper of a darker shade to emphasize the grandeur of the design. The protrusions on artificial rock are best made contrasting. The bedspread and fragments of furniture in the same color will create an interesting and harmonious ensemble in the room.

 

Of course, one should not forget about the rules of the distribution of color according to the sex of the child that have long been familiar to all of us: girls - pink, boys - blue. This does not mean at all that all the interior elements of the nursery should be exclusively in these colors, but here they are perfect as contrasting shades.

Girls will definitely like the idea with pink curtains or curtains, a bedspread and many pillows on the bed in different shades of red and pink. In such an interior, floral patterns with fabulous birds and butterflies are requested.
