What else will you need to create a flower garden with your own hands
Flower beds created by yourself are always unique in their kind and endowed with a wide variety of compositions. After all, it all depends on your imagination. The most amazing and fantasy compositions are most conveniently organized in the country in the form of flower beds, which in turn have a huge variety of shapes and styles. Natural materials are usually used for this, such as flowers, grass, stone, sand, gravel, tiles, shards, branches, vine, tree bark, etc.
The flowerbed in general is a universal flower garden, because The original and exclusive composition can be composed of only three types of plants.
In addition, there are different ways of placing it (elevated, curb, vertical, islands, lawns, etc.), which depend on the landscape and on your own imagination.
The flowerbed itself can also have various shapes and sizes, which are conditionally classified into the following types:
- traditional
- chameleon;
- regular
- irregular;
- ring-shaped;
- elevated;
- vertical
- carpet;
- monoclumba
Probably, you should not decipher the meanings of each of the species - they speak for themselves.
Flower Bed Care Tips
If annual plants are planted, then in the course of their growth they will distort the pattern of the flower garden, and also violate the outline (border). It is advisable to limit the border, for example, using a plastic tape with a width of not more than 20 cm, at the same time, deepen the lower edge into the soil by about 10 - 13 cm. The upper part forms a side that will inhibit the growth of annuals. If the plants are carpet type, then they do not need to be framed. Their shape is maintained by cutting about once a month - then the pattern and perfect shape will be preserved for the whole season.
If you use a perennial plant, then they also need a periodic haircut, as well as forced weaving and thinning (depending on the plant), if you want to maintain shape.
Finally, another tip - if you place the flowerbed on a background surface, for example, on a stone surface or lawn, then it will look much more spectacular. The flowerbed is also very beneficial, the level of which is raised by 15 - 25 cm relative to the ground.
