Biedermeier style: furniture, decoration and photo in the interior

As an independent style of interior, Biedermeier appeared at the beginning of the XIX century, but to this day it is not rarely used in our homes. Using this style, you can fill the interior not only with a romantic and somewhat poetic atmosphere, but at the same time make it practical and very convenient for living.

In addition, the upholstery itself should be fastened with special nails with large decorative hats. For the rest, decorating Biedermeier-style furniture cannot boast a rich variety. As a rule, all visible wooden details are simply covered with colored or transparent varnish.

Accessories

The interior in the Biedermeier style is simple and convenient, so it is not saturated with a huge variety of all kinds of accessories. As wall decorations, paintings of small sizes and miniatures can be used. But the most harmonious in such interiors are photographs framed in rather heavy wooden frames in color similar to the color of the furniture.

If you like flowers, then they can also be used to decorate the interior. For example, place bouquets in small narrow vases on a coffee table or bedside table.

Textile

In the formation of this style of interior textile plays far from the last role. Thanks to the huge number of high-pile carpets, curtains, curtains, bedspreads and canopies, it turns out to create cosiness in the room.
