In this case, you need to drill a hole of about 10 mm in diameter through the board and lag, to concrete and even 5 centimeters deep into the concrete floor. After that, with the appropriate fastener to the concrete floor, both the board and the lag are attracted.
In the event that the floor quality is good, and only one board creaks, then you can try to get rid of this in a way that is not particularly approved by building codes. Having found the place of deflection, you need to drill a hole in the board and pour a full container of mounting foam there. Then, while the foam dries, it is better not to walk on this floor. Of course, this is not a panacea, but the foam will fix the boards and even the weight of an adult can withstand. In addition, a long self-tapping screw, which is screwed to the very concrete base, will help strengthen the song board.
It is quite difficult to get rid of various floor creaks in old houses that used wooden floors. What to do if the floor creaks in which the wooden floors were used? In this situation, if all of the above measures do not help, sheets of plywood with a thickness of 15 to 20 millimeters should be laid on the floor. It will be cheaper than a complete replacement of a wooden floor. A sheet of plywood, with the help of self-tapping screws, which are placed as often as possible, is attracted to the floorboards. Under the plywood you need to put a soft substrate, which is used when installing the floor from the laminate. This will smooth out the unevenness of the flooring from the boards. On such a floor you can lay the same laminate or just paint it.
You can not recommend a method for eliminating floor creaks, which involves clogging a wedge between the floor boards. Even if this wedge is put on the strongest glue, anyway, with the further operation of such a design, the boards are pushed out. As a result of this, not only floorboards will rub, which rub against each other, but also a wedge hammered between them. The creak will not only not decrease, but will become larger.
